Origins of the dream
What happens when a couple offroaders over beers decide to inject VAN LIFE with some high-octane desert racing BAD ASSERY? This right here. It’s a love for balls-out desert runs, road trips, a little humor, and a “What if…?”
This project started as a conversation. Then a concept drawing to see if would hold up. As soon as the picture began to come together, we knew we had a winner.
Next is to bring it on home for real: a long-travel, 2WD build designed to rip through dirt, whoops, washes and anything else in its path, but with room for 5. Or a nap in the back, granted that you don’t mind coilovers and bypasses cycling next to your ear. Sounds dreamy.
Should we go for it? Hey, we love the drawings and hope you do too.. but how could we not build this thing? Every piece of merch sold helps move the needle in that direction — getting this van off the page and out into the dirt (Learn more about the concept here). And HELL YEAH, you can go for a ride! We’ll have plenty of room.
The Trophy Van Team
This shit couldn’t be cooked up in a Russian bot farm. We’re real Americans who feel damn fortunate to be able to play Baja at our free will and build huck wagons in our free time.
Between us, we’ve ripped & rolled through the dirt, built & destroyed some cars, gotten our hands dirty at some big races, and have had a hell of a lot of fun. We’ve wound it out through the deserts of Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Oregon – not always rubber side down.
This is a hobby you kinda gotta survive.
